Colobus Monkey Safari The only park in northern Tanzania where you can go on a walking safari is Arusha National Park. Safari in Arusha National Park entails a short hike with a ranger. You will go for a walk in the tropical forest and watch animals from the comfort of your car. The most amazing aspect is that you will be able to walk up to the crater of Meru (Tanzania's second-highest peak and Africa's fifth-highest peak), which is located right in the park.
